Golden Globes Theory
With the economy in ruins and the upcoming inauguration threatening to steal attention away from L.A., there were rumblings of a scaled-back Golden Globes ceremony. But after last January's cancellation due to the writers' strike, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association promised not to skimp on the glamour this year, and plenty of A-listers in attendance played along. Maggie Gyllenhaal wore leopard-print evening dress; Drew Barrymore channeled Marilyn Monroe in Dior couture and an effervescent blonde bouffant; Cameron Diaz chose one of the night's few brightly colorful party dresses when she donned hot-pink Chanel couture; and Marisa Tomei went with a chic Oscar de la Renta ensemble.

Others played it if not safe then certainly classic in tried-and-true black or white. Funny girls Tina Fey and Amy Poehler went with dark evening dresses, while Eva Mendes and Sandra Bullock vamped for the cameras in palest Christian Dior. Fans wanted their idols to show up with bling outfits and accessories, which were something more than just sing well or acting well. They liked to see the stars in fabulous dresses or tuxedoes, and also found it fun to follow the stars in the field of fashion or being catchy. So why not come with us to see some really exciting faces here?

What about the Smiths? They are the kind of people who are never willing to be the support roles. Take the sexy goddess Angelina Jolie as an example. She wore a very simple white evening dress that day. Special material makes her body figure look fabulous, and her black hair just went well with the gray-white evening dress. Brad Pitt kept a low-profile, too. Traditional black tuxedo with a cute black butterfly put on the neck made him a very standardized gentleman. And his cool black sunglasses made him look wild and woolly.
